Since I joined Private Citizen years ago, the amount of junk calls and junk mail I receive has
been about 90-95% less!! That's pretty darn good in my book.

The junk calls that I used to get every day have almost stopped, since I signed on.
I would guess that we're getting 85 to 90 percent fewer calls. Thank you for this service.

As far as eliminating unwanted telephone calls, one can join Private Citizen, Inc., a privacy
advocate group which sends a directory of its members to over 1,500 solicitors, with a notice
that the members listing offer the use of their time and telephone for $500 per solicitation. 
Since joining, phone solicitations to my home have dropped from 10 per week (no joke!) to one
every three months or so.

Both myself and my girlfriend have been on the do not call list (available at 800 CUT JUNK) and
taken other steps described at http://www.private-citizen.com to protect my privacy.  As a result,
I now average two calls a month rather than 3-4 a week.

I wanted to take a moment to thank you for your service. I subscribed to Private Citizen back
in the fall of last year, and have noticed a dramatic decrease in the number of nuisance

Just a note to let you know what a remarkable change has transpired since we signed up with
Private Citizen, Inc!  Tom & I can't thank you enough for taking the time and effort to do this for
others because our life has really been terrific since the phone has stopped ringing!
 
I did want to notify you that we will be moving to Mexico soon for a 2 to 3 year assignment.  
Upon our return, I will most certainly contact you again to resume our membership.  Private
Citizen has made life so much better and easier for us...and dinnertime is certainly enjoyed
by all without interruption! We thank you so much!

First let me say thank you.  My company became a member in May of last year and the annoying
telemarketing calls have all but ceased.  We are now able to get our work done without having to

Just wanted to drop you a line and let you know I won my first small claims suit against a
telemarketer. I didn't get what I was asking for, the judgment is for $500.00 plus costs, but I WON!!!!
 
Thanks to your site for a wealth of information.  It certainly helped in preparing my case.
 
When the commissioner announced my decision, he looked directly at the telemarketers and said,
"This just cost you $500.00, don't call him again and don't call me either!"  . . .  Again, thanks for
